There is a solution for Ivy and its free. If its not specifically Ivy your looking for you could maybe replace the leaf textures with flowers. Lots of examples on the site and a tutorial video and texture download at the bottom of the page.Attached Link: http://www.dreahorvath.com/2011/08/24/ivy-generator-a-free-tool-to-boost-up-your-forest-ruins/
It's a standalone application. Extract the dowloaded file to a folder, maybe on your desktop. Within the new folder created you will see a "bin" folder, within that folder is the ivy generator .exe file, no need to install just double click that file to run it ( i just made a shortcut to it on my desktop to make it easier to access). It will only import obj files so if the model you want to grow on is not obj go to the link provided, Drea Horvath has a nice tutorial on this (and if you have never seen her Vue work check that out as well, its incredible).Seems there is a newer version of the sofware than the link I provided in my earlier post, new link is at the bottom of Drea's page. She says Ivy Generator doesn't like obj models converted from within Vue but I can't remember ever having a problem with them.
If you don't have an external app to convert various model formats to obj there are free ones out there like Blender and others.
Once you have completed growing your Ivy export it as obj out of Ivy Generator and save it somewhere, then import that obj into Vue. It only exports the Ivy itself and not the model it grew on so you may have to place it correctly on the model within Vue.
There are also some good video tutorials on how to use it on youtube.
Sorry this was a little long winded just in a typing mood this morning :)
Import your OBJ model into the Ivy Generator. Also import the OBJ into Vue. We'll assume that the OBJ model was designed properly so that it is situated on the ground.
Click the ground near the OBJ and ivy will grow up the side of the OBJ. Then export the ivy as OBJ, and import into it Vue. It will import on the OBJ model you already have in your Vue scene.
