I wish it could be gotten through CP or  the MySmithMicro store so I don't have to enter all of my info again... 👎

I haven't seen that one. What triggers it?

Closing the scene.  Any scene.  Even if all you do is open an empty scene.  Upon closing you get that error message.

Doesn't actually cause any issues other than the opened window with the error message.

Thank you for the heads up.

Improvement means change. Change need not mean improvement.

I use Poser 12.0.757, 11.3 and or 2014, on Win10 64bit.

As opposed to simply closing Poser? I'm not trying to be daft but I've never seen this message... but then again I don't close scenes, I close Poser. Or load a new (empty) scene. So why close a scene at all? Why not just save, then open a new?

A "_.1" release is by nature a quick add-on fix;  the fact that some bugs are still present doesn't mean that SM aren't working on them.

I've notified SM that your computer reported a threat;  I don't know if it's a real threat or a false positive.

Downloaded the Pro 2014 package (definitely from the right page) but when installed it's for Poser 10, not Pro 2014.

I managed to get hold of a technician at Smith Micro via LiveChat. He's checked the details, escalated the problem to an incident and will sort out the correct file. He will let me know by email.

Do you have any addons or scripts that run when Poser starts?  I don't think any of my products would cause this.  It sounds like something is hanging on a "None" object like "No Actor".  Or Poser is doing a cleanup upon closing and a script or addon is still trying to get the contents of the scene.  Probably a "callback" issue.

Currently, I have no addons running and only my own scripts auto-launching, and I'm not seeing this.

Update:

Problem fixed.

The download file is now the correct one for PoserPro 2014.

bevans84 ( ) posted Fri, 23 August 2013 at 3:53 PM

Mine does it also, same error message.

Across the top of the error window it says mainwacro

Cage ( ) posted Sat, 24 August 2013 at 12:38 AM

What has this update fixed?  The readme makes it look like it might address only one issue.  Have I misunderstood the documentation?  😕

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

Nope, no addons or scripts that run when Poser starts, to the best of my knowledge.

BTW, speaking of your products, any chance of getting your older HCS products updated for HCS 2014 (G2 James, Sydney, & Miki 2, V4 & M4) - I have to keep an earlier version of Poser installed to use HCS II, & I'd really like to get that space back.  I don't mind buying them again.
