It's You!, You have all the weapons you need., Now Fight!
Wow.. This is awesome. Looks so real!

Great materials, but I think the uvs need to be tweaked a bit on the breasts, as there is a lot of stretching....

Also in the armpit and at the elbows. The leg beehive texture is also smaller then the rest of the body. The rest of the texture work is pretty good, though a bit low rez/artifacty in some areas like those shoulder pad edges. I will also point out that the seam under the arm has a continuous texture across it which looks odd. Shifting the texture a bit to make it look more like 2 different fabric panels stiched together would make it even better.
Great work otherwise !
This is something I'd like to learn how to do... I tried to reverse engineer those shaders, so I could do things like that, but my brain melted
Quote - I'm not that nitpicky that I mind a little stretch across the boobage - too used to it. LOL. (can also fix it if I have to). If worse comes to worse I could always use BB's procedural leather shaders and add the stitchings :D.

And that'll only get worse as the breasts are morphed bigger (as they almost certainly will).
I think the breast cups need a few seams to divide them into several smaller panels. It seems odd that the suit is made up of flat panels to take up the body's curves (and the careful placement of the seams accentuates them) but then on the breast the material somehow automagically takes up the spherical shape like a knit or latex.
I think it needs at least a seam where the underwire would be, and one through the nipple, either on the equator line or maybe angled. The placement of those seams can be very sexy, better IMO than the standard Poser-stretchy-clingy-boobs look.
I don't know if seams across the breast would make morphing/UV stretching more difficult, but I think it would be worth a try.
For the rest I think the suit is gorgeous, I have absolutely no use for a superheroine suit but I could see myself buying it just to admire it ;-)

My thoughts exactlky. I don't do "superhero" stuff.. but this is a work of art. I could also easily see myself buying it just because it's so pretty :)

The stretching on the chest is acceptable for the textures. It would look odd if it didnt stretch.
Fabric, unless it is custom tailored for the person will stretch around areas like that. So I guess it will depend on how "off the rack" your hero buys her clothes LOL
Great suit...I cannot wait to use it in renders.

Quote - I'm impressed! I've often wondered exactly who does what when two or more people collaborate on a project? For instance, does one person design the suit, someone models it, another does morphs for it, UV Maps it, etc?
It depends of the project and the people skills. Most of the time one person is responsible for one part of the project, for example for this bodysuit :
isi is in charge of the concept, coordination, promo renders
nick is in charge with the modelling, uvmapping and texturing
I'm in charge with the rigging and everything for the poser/DS adaptation of the outfit
This is looking awesome.
Will the suit come with accompanying items like gloves, boot options, mask, cape?? How many surface groups are there going to be or will the suit be just one whole suit?

I found when building my own supersuit for Genesis to make concentric circles around the breast area and concentrate more poly's in that area so stretching is minimized.

Hello Ramwolf..glad you like it....and yes....gloves, belt and a mask will be included in the package...as we speak Nick and Alain are modeling...we want to present something really special that's why we take our time...
we want this to be a product that will be supported from texture artists as well by giving various designs...
;)
I totally believe in taking ones time to release the best possible product. I'm glad your supporting both Poser and DAZ Studio. My being a Studio user and loving Dawn it's a shame that so many don't. More products for Poser end of things so far but that's fine. I can deal!

Quote - This looks like a render from Marmoset Toolbag...is it??
well Nick is in charge to speak for this but since he is not a member here yet i think i can speak for him...he made all these previews in a real time renderer since that at the time we where at the modelling stage. So i guess you are talking about the same program...Now Hal001 has sent me some renders from poser and the materials look awesome...
we will keep you breef as soon as we have more to show to you ;)

It will probably come with multiple textures. & then 3rd parties will make even more textures.
Rawn : What software do you use for modeling ,mapping & texturing ?
isikol : what app's are you all using for modeling, mapping & texturing ?

Me , Hal001, and Nick Deligaris are currently creating something special for Dawn.
We are very proud to present some basic wip screenshots of what we are working...
its a superhero suit for Dawn....we are in the early stages and there are going to be extra props for it!
Nick Deligaris is one of the best 3d artists i know, an EMMY awarded one, and i was very happy when he told me he would join forces with as to make something special for Dawn...
hopefully we will have more to show...
stay tuned and please let us know what do you think so far!
