Subject: switching figure groups how?

hi all, how do I add a figure group i.e. lShoulder to lCollar, so that the figure is not affected by the shoulder?

Not sure if that's what you mean, but turning off BEND on that part will make it tigid, like armour.

not really, this piece is made up of a number of body groups, it has to be
