We had a pretty good windstorm here last night.  Not much damage in this neighborhood, but the wind somehow scrubbed the bark off a tree and piled it in a driveway.  The pile looks like a dead wolf to me, and the squirrel doesn't quite know what to make of it either.

Must have been a small rotation in the wind to scrub off bark.... 

And what would you call that rotation?   (Answer left as exercise for reader)

Sounds like one of those Squirrel Bafflement Tree Peeling Vortex sort of thingies, to me.  I think maybe it's similar to the kind of wind pattern which has left so many Vickies to stand disrobed in a temple, with a sword.  Wind like that, it'll rip the clothes right off a Vickie, like nothin'.

Prob'ly there's some high-falutin' scientifical term for such a wind pattern, though.  If this were a Big Bang Theory script, I guess the terminology would be plugged into the space marked "[SCIENCE TO FOLLOW]"....  :unsure:

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

sounds like maybe there was a localized tornado....dunno of anything else powerfull enough to pull the bark off a tree.
