Here is something I am working now, its a little trailler done in two days, using HitFilm, Carrara and Poser content. I also use it to edit my images like we do with layers in Photoshop because HF use a non destructive effects and I can adjust all lyears very easy.

Nice work, are you planning a movie or short film? I just sub'd your channel so I guess I'll find out when the finished piece comes out.
I know what you mean about effects layers in HF, very versatile and as you say, non-destructive. Colour grading was a new approach for me and though not necessarily spectacular, it makes a huge difference to the look of finished projects.
Plus, I'm having great fun with particles :)
Yes, we did a full shot from a scen that took 7 hours to shoot! There will be a 7 minutes scene with lot of effects that I am working on. Most things done in Carrara like the kid in the light and other effects also.
I am learning the particles yet, its very powerfull and can do a lot of things without much work!

Not sure if the "Layer as texture" for the Partclle System is a Ultimate 2 feature only. but its great fun, here's a link to a Poser animation of a rotating skull as particlesThis site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Here's a link to a little clip I made in Poser to try out motion tracking in HitFilm. I rendered the scenery in 2 layers (sky and ground) in Poser and for the figure exported a batch of movies of individual body parts with only the "origins" visible, tracked them in HitFilm and used lightning effects to draw the figure, rain and mist added in HitFilm too
