Subject: OT: recording/streaming video options

Hey all, does anyone know of a good option for capturing video and possibly audio for recording or streaming?  Free preferred, but I'll look into some paid programs.  Note this is for personal use (recording my games for analysis) so it doesn't have to be huge or have too many features.

For games, I use Fraps:

For general capturing, camtasia is pretty good:

CamStudio is free if you would like to take a peek at it.

If you are on a Windows machine, Micro$oft has the free Windows Media Encoder.

Records and streams at many different resolutions.

I recently got Ashampoo Snap 5 from GiveawayOfTheDay.com. It's great. For whatever reason, Fraps suddenly stopped working on my computer, so I was looking for alternatives. Snap is a good one.

Keep an eye on GAOTD, they frequently have that kind og programs :)
