Does anyone know any 3D resources relating to these Edgar Rice Burroughs 'Barsoom' novels (The first of these ;A Princess of Mars'  is the novel on which the (2012?) movie 'John Carter' was based). I mean there is a whole world of products out there which someone with the skills could cash in on - Various creatures like Thargs, The creatures they ride on and domesticate, The other races of Mars (Therns, First Born, Yellow Men, Red Men), the transports they use (Flyers, battleships, cruisers), the temples, palaces, dwellings, arenae and landscapes featured in the books and films.

Well - He wrote the original book in 1906 - so I am not sure about that?

Anyway - how many close matches to more recent stuff have we seen? Lots of Sci-fi stuff that bears a close resemblance to people and clothing, transport etc... from Star Trek, Star Wars, Alien(s), GoT, etc... is available, and not all as freebies!

You can check Daz for some figures. They're based a bit more on the movie adaptations, but I know I've seen a few there.

As far as the princess goes... try http://www.daz3d.com/zavia-red-martian-princess-for-v4 and http://www.daz3d.com/martian-princess-base which follow the book a bit more for her.
