So - thanks very much for the ignore button but does it ignore just the post or the user who wrote the post?

Enquiring minds would like to know.  And kudos for the Forum updates.  I personally rather like them (although there will probably be howls of anguish, just like normal :) )

when one clicks ignore, it gives msg "You currently have this user ignored. To view this post you must unignore the user." for current msg and all other msgs by ignored usr.  YMMV

You are correct.

problem is, it's a half ignore

to explain. the message about you've ignored this person, click here to unignore them to see the post..

well. see, I ignored them. I don't want to see any posts by them, hence me pressing the ignore in the first place.

(never understood why I'd then want to then see a post they've made... this is not the only place that has implimented this halfassed system)

plus annoyingly, you get Ebots for posts made by users you've ignored! ermmmmmmmmm not good right?

ok I know this won't be fixed.. but... c'mon... ya gotta see what I mean LOL

Two bits:

1. Cool - but then, I never really had much use for such a thing. I think I can count on one hand the number of times since I first went online in 1991-ish when I'd even want one... but that's just me. 

1. Now that I think about it, I should have stopped by... I was in Atlanta recently. Damn.
