Subject: My forums page

I don't know what you guys are doing but my Forum page is a mess..  The software section is OK but it also shows the software in the other sections too.

I'm using Firefox but it's the same in IE & Chrome..  Plus all the fonts are white on a white background in Chrome.

Or maybe it's just my goofy pc..

We did push out a new Bootstrap on our Forums this morning.  Have you tried doing a hard refresh and see if that helps any?

Let me know.

Doesn't help.  It seems that the forums are duplicated in an overly large "Administration" area.  However, even the software forums are replicated in the Topics area.

Using Chrome.

Also can't see the text in the reply box.  The reply box is white the text is a very light grey

Same on chrome (android,  4.2 (Galaxy s4) and 4.3 (nexus 7)) and Firefox (windows 7 deskyop)  for me

Programmers are looking at the duplications and working to fix.

I have logged into IE and FF and I am able to see the text in the reply box.

The duplication should be corrected now.

When reporting issues for Firefox or Chrome, it's logical for them to assume you are running the latest verisons (FF 25 and Chrome 30 respectively).

When reporting issues for IE, it woud help them to be very specfic to your release number, as different Windows Releases max out at different points.

  • Windows XP can't run above IE 8.
  • Windows Vista can't run above IE 9.
  • Windows 7 is currently maxed at IE 10 (but will get IE 11 eventually).
  • Windows 8 is currently on IE 11.
