Subject: Disappearing gallery images

"I have a small gallery with you of less than 15 images. In the last 6 months 2 of my top ranked images have disappeared from the gallery. The most recent within the last week. Is there an explanation for this?"

I have just sent this email to admin.  It will be interesting to hear what they have to say.

I just looked at your Gallery. There are 10 images currently showing. Were there originally 12 images? I'm asking this because a few years ago I experienced a temporary glitch that kept me from viewing some of the images in my Gallery. The problem fixed itself in my case.

 One of the images has been gone for several months and the latest was just within the last week. Considering that I had well fewer than 15 images, to have two of them vanish is a considerable percentage.

There was a glitch in the galleries a short time ago of disappearing artwork. I think they fixed it now, tho I have no idea where your images went. Hopefullly, not into the ether :( I would contact one of the Bryce mods directly or even an admin.

Thanks Laurie. What kind of irks me is that the two images that are gone were both 5.0 rank but the unranked are still there.

Write the Admin...when they're tweaking a new roll out like this they need input from everywhere till the glitches stop happening. That's what I'd do anyway.

 

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

Admin is working on the problem and I hope to have an answer by the end of the week.

Followup: Admin worked for over a week and did find and re-post one of my missing images. The second older image seems lost to the ether but fortunately can be re-constructed.
