Subject: Crazy animation bug in Poser Pro 2014

I wonder if anyone else has experienced this issue in Poser Pro 2014.

When working on an animation in the keyframes editor and having some of the figures body parts open, if you then use the symmetry option on a figure to swap a body part from left to right or right to left etc, the edit is made okay but the open body parts list is automatically closed as the screen redraws itself. You have to reopen all the body parts again. This can become really infuriating and frustrating when you have a lot to do. Has anyone else experienced this?

Not sure if that is a bug or a feature.

Hi Phil,

Interesting what you say but if so then kind of crazy I think! I should have also said that the same thing happens in the keyframe editor window when you turn on Kinetics also.

Hi

I do a lot of animating, that's pretty much what I use Poser for.

The animation palette drives me crazy sometimes.

If I'm working with one figure and I makes a few changes to it in the preview window, I then go back to the animation palette, only to find that it has now expanded the other figure and closed the one I'm working on.

I have to go through the whole process of navigating back to the figure and component that I was working on all over again.

I wish that if I open it to a certain point, it would stay that way unless I chose to open another character's options but it doesn't seem to remember where it was.

It can be a pain trying to keep it open all the time; it always seems to be in the way.  I'd like to be able to open it and have it be where it was when I closed it.

I hadn't considered whether certain actions make it readjust.

I'm thinking of getting a second monitor just so I can get it off my screen all together. Since the bigger it is the easier it is to work with.

If you have 4,000 frames in a clip, the scrolling horizontally can be a pain.

I wish you could select a whole column across the way you can vertically just by clicking on a box at the start.

I'd at least like to have a scroll button, it doesn't seem to like to scroll across you have keep wiggling the mouse back and forth to get it to move, this sometimes seems to take forever.

Anyway I feel your pain. LOL

Mike

If you shoot a mime, do you need a silencer?
