Just be mindful that you may need to push your pixel sampling to approximately 10. Otherwise, the out of focus area will appear grainy. This link should also help:

Goto the display menu, then down to guides, then Focus Distance Guide. This will bring up the focusing ring that moves for DOF when you use the focus distance dial.

Im just trying to find how to use DOF in poser 2014 I think I need to know how far from the camera the part i want in sharp focus is away from the camera. I can find mention on the net about a script for poser 7 to measure the distance of any high lighted object so you can enter that value for the camera , is there such a script for poser 2014 , or even some other way
