Subject: changing colors of renderosity website

goido ( ) posted Sun, 10 November 2013 at 4:39 PM · edited Mon, 23 December 2024 at 7:05 AM

I much prefer the black background with white font of the past, the new grey background is dificult to read for me. How could I change the colors of  Renderosity page to black and white font?

Thanks

Hi goido,

I am sorry you are not happy with the color but we made the change when we changed over the galleries, forums, etc.

I will ask our programmers if there is a way you would be able to change the color but I don't think this is possible.

Thanks

Attached Link: Color That Site

If you use Firefox they have a Color that Site add on that will change it for you.

@TinaK..  Just wanted to let you know this is what I'm getting at the top of the forum preview page.  Might just be my pc telling me it's tired & that I should go to bed..

There's a section in the personal setup page here that allows you to enter code to change the page.  There's also a forum dedicated to this....

Personally my ro pages are grey and white thanks to this...

@Ravyns is it like this some of the time or always?

I am not seeing it on my end.

I'm seeing it in Windows, Firefox & Chrome.. All new versions.  I only see it when I click the Preview Reply button.. Could just be my machine.

@Khai-J-Bach ..  The code I had in the profile page quit working when they changed the site so I just assumed it wasn't working anymore.  I'll have to check that out.

Thanks! I did not find the forum or the personal page set up, is the set up on my account or profile? I checked the forum and the html one is pretty empty. I will try the Firefox site.

At the top of this page..

Open the drop down box on the My Forum

Click on forum Options..

The code would go into the Style box.

Check your messages..

Thanks! Pardon my inexperience, I went to my forums, click on forum options and the I copy and pasted the information you gave me in the PM and click on save changes. Nothing happened. It says to follow the link to change the style, I don't see it.

Attached Link: CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) Workroom Forum

That's where I looked the first time I wanted to add the code.   I don't see a link anywhere either so maybe it's quit working. I'm sorry the one I sent you didn't work.

I found the CSS Forum but nothings been posted there in a long time.  You have to use the Archive to get it to display any threads.

Since you are using Firefox, you can over-ride site styling easily.

Click Tools from the Menu.

Then Options.

Then click the 'Content' tab.

Click 'Colors'

Uncheck 'Allow pages to choose their own colors..."

Hit OK.

This will over-ride any site you visit until whatever color combo you use.  You can change fonts the same way via the 'font' button from the same menu.

and... look at that, the p tag still has a 10px bottom margin.  Still breaking line spacing.

It's not your machine, that's a php error thrown and not handled by the server-side code.

And yes, it happens during 'preview reply'.
