shante ( ) posted Fri, 15 November 2013 at 9:34 PM · edited Fri, 10 January 2025 at 9:41 PM

goin nuts,

i was so sure i have seen a set  of vascular maps for V4 but now that I need them I can't find a single lead. checked all the sites i could think of that have v4 stuff, free or for purcase without any luck.

if anyone knows of any out there i might have missed, would really appreciate a lead.

it has to be just the bump maps not textures. i have the m4 sets out there and wish the also worked on v4,   :(

Hi Willy

No that wasn't the set i saw but i might have to look into it. not too hot on the vascular bump on the woman's breasts...just doesn't look normal but i am going to contact the artist and find out if it can be controlled before i plunk down my money.

thanks for the lead. just curious why i never got myself when i did my own search??  :(

The vascular map can be controlled or applied to specific body body parts; the script allows these changes.

I hope it is a simple proces to do that I am not exactly a Poser wiz when it comes to more complex operations and the Materials Room eludes and befuddles me forcing me to use the simple mapping room.  :(

In fact the product allows be applied to the maps of the torso or limbs maps, if you must do something more "personalized"  you need playing into the material room, also enables setting control the strength of the bump map and color, the process is not complicated, now if your need a good "after sales service"  there must be honest and say that in my case attention has been really really bad

I hope it's help you

The strength on the torso area can be controlled to your liking, both for the colour and displacement overlays. If you dont like the details on the breast, simply edit the assigned map in Photoshop or Gimp and erase the vein details in that area. It's pretty easy to do. Just back up the original files incase you want those details back, thats assuming you decide to buy the product. Attached is a quick edit I did on the displacement map. And to get hold of me all you have to do is drop me a PM and I will answer any questions you have:)

Ah Ha!

The artist himself!

So they are overlays?

Are there seperate bump maps too that need to be edited out as well as specularity maps if I don't want the effect in certain body areas?

The set does not use Bump maps, only displacement and diffuse maps. So if your set has an existing displacement map, this will overlay them, same with the vein colour overlays in diffuse.
