Subject: Downloading all images in my gallery.

StuartB ( ) posted Thu, 21 November 2013 at 6:55 PM · edited Fri, 22 November 2024 at 12:09 PM

I asked this in the Bryce forum but bobbystahr suggested posting it here instead.

"Hi.

Just wondered if there is any way to download/save all the images from my own gallery all in one go, instead of having to view and save each one seperately.

I've lost a lot of them on a hard drive that gave up. The only place they are stored now is online."

I have already got my images back but this was my original question.

I would still like to know if it is possible.

Thanks.

Nope.... in some ways this is good because others can't do so either. Be sure that you back up each image when you post (*maybe in a seperate folder just for posted art like I do). BTW, you do very nice work! I have a few fa'd I think. Best of luck.

Thanks very much Ariana.

Shame, but I can understand why.

Thanks for the kind comment about my work.

Stuart.

Technically... yes.  But you've have to build a webcrawler to do it, and unless you do it correctly you risk flooding a server to the point it thinks you are attempting a denial of service attack.

My thoughts exactly! If the server sees suspicious goings on, it can also lock you out (*horrible if it happens on the weekends!) of the site!

This program will do what you want.  You can define how many levels into a website you want the program to source images from.  It will work here on Renderosity.
