Subject: Upgrade or Full Version?

 I currently have Poser 8, and have been tossing around the idea of purchasing Poser 10. With other programs, I've upgraded from one version to the next, but I wanted to know if it would be better to buy the full version of P10 versus the upgrade version of P10 from P8.

 

Any thoughts?

a POSER upgrade is a FULL VERSION ..nothing less then that ..

A upgrade version will only say you payed a nit less because you already had a pre version ..

No difrence between a new full version and a upgrade of the same version ..

Dont feel dumb ..many people make that mistake.. mainly due to the LE versions that are out there ..

There are some programs that only upgrade the new things ..but full version upgrade and poser for sure are 100% new versions ..

 

its up the the maker of the tool ..but 99% of the upgrades can be done as a full version install

And all you need it a previous serial number orzo ...

So your right and almost right  .. 😉

I noticed that Amazon has the full version of Poser 10, (meaning you don't have to have an old serial number) for sale for only $80.

I don't know if you can beat that someplace else but it seems pretty cheap to me.

Regardless whether you purchase an upgrade or full version, the install will place Poser in a separate folder of it's own.

Amazon and Purplus are good places to purchase Poser for cheaper.

I bought the boxed edition of Poser 8 from purplus for $40 and just recently upgraded to Poser 10 on the intro sale through Smith Micro.
