My first attempt at a night view of the flag on the front porch. I'll raise the camera and change the exposure on the next try.

It seems like there is a little dead space around the photo. Can you get a little closer? I don't think you need to get the camera higher. But that's my opinion. Bsteph

I'll move in closer and try to aviod the keystone effect. This was a trial shot to see what the scene would produce. Visually it has some appeal, now to capture that with an image that is better than a snapshot .

What the keystone effect? Is it like texturing? Bsteph

"Keystone" is the last stone in an arch, at the top. It slopes in on both sides. In a picture it is the distortion caused by a shorter focal length lens being above or below the center of the subject. Some software can do the corrections, normally it does not completely fix the height to width ratio.
