Subject: Bryce newbie question: How do I export a group of objects?

I was just wondering how I might export a 'group' of objects in Bryce as a single .obj file? Any takers? Seems like every time I try to export a group, the option in the menu is greyed out. Thanks in advance, co(V)(V)union

Well it works for me. You select all the meshes you want to export , then goto the create button on top. Then you click the "add" button and make a description , then select the meshes you just added and then click the "export" button. I have been doing it like this for months and it works fine seemingly upto about 20+ meg .obp files. Late!

That seems cool if I want to transfer files from Bryce to Bryce, but what about export to Wavefront .obj? This is what I am trying to accomplish. co(V)(V)union

Ah , I see well then you're limited to 2D lattices. Bryce won't export models yet to various formats. Try making a 2D lattice then the export option will go active. Bummer huh.

Actually, there is a trick, use CTRL+A to select all the objects, and if their is a "E" Visible, click it to goto the Edit Mesh/Smooth window. With that open then hit CTRL+D and a save as window appears, simply choose what 3d format you want, and thats it. If you do not have the "E" option, then theyre is no way to export it in any other form besides .obp FastTraxx
