Well, this is something I've been toying with. I know it's nothing wonderful, but I enjoy making things more than rendering. As I don't think it wise for me to shell out the cash for a real modeling prgram right now, I'm trying to do stuff in Bryce. I realize that the only way to get good at something is practice, practice, practice. So, here it is. I'm looking for suggestions, critiscizm(?), flames, etc. It i9s supposed to be something of an arena. It occured to me that if people today had private bowling alleys, why didn't the Romans have private arenas? Once again, I'm just trying trying to dip my toe into the modeling pond. Everything is welcome. Thanks alot!

Have you tried Amapi yet? It's a great modeling program with nurbs and all sorts of stuff. Check the Amapi forum, someone there can point you in the direction of the free download of the full version of 4.1.5. Give it a shot, I think you'll like it.

Ooops! BTW, the building looks great. Better than anything I've ever done. Keep up the good work!

Great model, It would be interesting to see you use it in a final render. I suppose any suggestions I could make might involve the roof. Although you may never show the roof in a final render, this angle does bring to mind what a Roman arena roof might look like. Modeling in Bryce may at first seem difficult, but almost anything can be made in it. I modeled and rendered a pair of "glasses" in Bryce 4 with over 150 parts in it. Trust me, pretty much anything is possible in Bryce. Keep it up! Agent Smith
