Hi Everyone, I could really do with a few pointers if possible as im fairly new to poser and have a couple of things i cant yet figure out. 1 - When your creating a poser aniation yeh?, the default stting is to include a grey shadow next to your poser figure. How do you turn it off? the problem being when you use another avi movie as a backdrop it casts the shadow all over the place and doesnt blend well. 2-When you add an item of clothing how do you lock it onto a body art so that, for example when you add the cowboy hat to the male figure and then you move the head over 30 frames....the hat stays where it is :O(. 3 - Does ayone know where i can get really god item of clothing for the default characters in poser4? Sorry to9 be a pain in the A@S people, but i figure if you guys dont know then nobody will :)

There's a little ball to the right of your main window when you mouse over says 'display shadows' Turn that off. Also if you double click on a part (or select the part and go to the objects menu then properties) you get a properties dialog box. Uncheck cast shadows. This will enable you to turn off shadows for just individual parts. You need to do this with each segment of a figure such as arm, chest etc. To keep the hat on you need to double click the hat and then select 'set parent', find on the list that pops up the head of your figure and select it. Usually figure one head. The hat will then follow the movements of the head.

there are many items of clothing for the P4 characters, some are free. Also I would advise a subscription to poserworld, the cost is $35 for 3-month access or $50 for a year, but for that low price you will get about 50 items of conforming clothing, there are also textures, props, and backdrops. They have a free area as well, so you can check out the quaility of goods they have. (the free area changes, and they are always adding stuff to the member area) lastly check out the guide to poser downloads section on my webpage, it has links to the 2 sites I mentioned and a few others.
