Renderosity Addiction

I'm addicted to shopping for Poser,
I tell you, my Runtime runs over!
It's the fault of all those coupons,
That keeps me shopping on and on,

But I fear I'll never get all installed,
While in my mad shopping thrall,
My purse strings are way too loose,
Always wanting more for my use!

I keep getting into a continuous stream,
Buying for creative ideas that I dream,
But I better get busy and DO the art,
And get back to finishing what I start!

But come the end of the billing cycle,
When the harsh reality is due for arrival,
When once again, I sigh heavily and sniffle,
Yet still, I pay the bill, and return to denial!

Then the next day I start with a clean slate,
I'm raring to shoot out of that shopping gate!
Because each purchase has it's rationalization,
Thus my addiction returns without any hesitation!

Great poem Lyne and I can so relate!

My downloads and unpack folder is bulging with props I just couldn't live without!

This yesterday I thought to myself, I wouldn't purchase anything until I sort everything out and create something....... but inbetween the thought and action I downloaded Bryce and fell in love.  

Now of course I need a few bits and pieces for Bryce lol!

But touch wood, even though I've looked I haven't caved in...at least not yet;)

the problem is if you don't buy it when you see it the vendor may suddenly withdraw it and then you can never get it again.  so it is tempting to get the things you think you may need later.

also, for installing, I now pay a student to just unzip and organize a bit into the external runtime folders that I need and it makes installing quicker.  he notes if a product is for another product that I already have etc.

if you think about it, a movie producer has a whole production team.

You hit the nail right on the head. There are certain things I can't resist and when they are on sale or - worse - in clearance, my inhibitions break down. And all this stuff is so...useful!

heeee! thanks for your comments.... I found a texture set in the clearence sale for an outfit I passed on.....so of course I HAD to use a coupon to get the original outfit AND the texture add on set... and on it goes...

pay someone?! egads...I'm retired...so once in a while I go on an INSTALLING BINGE and then I feel better...until... !!

Nice poem and I'd write more about it, but I am really busy right now. There is a clearence sale going on. I have a prime membersip coupon to use up by the end to the month. Tons of stuff in my wish list are on sale until the 29th. Plus I am sure the powers to be will announce a sale to celebrate New Years. :ohmy::ohmy::ohmy:

PS...at very end of 2013, I finished shopping for the clearence sale...looked at the amount I spent this December and dropped on the floor in a dead faint!!  :0

Same for me. I purchased 200+ products this year and downloaded another 400 free items. I wonder when I'll be able to use them :)
