(Click to enlarge.) Welcome to 2014 all.

Here some Roxie Morphing experiments.

  • Removed all magnets.

  • Saved as a fresh cr2

  • Opened Roxie1.1 object in Blender

  • Reduced number of material zones to 6.

  • Morphed - head - neck - arms - breasts - abdomen - legs

  • Saved as new object file

  • Edited fresh cr2 to point to new object file

  • Sharpened all textures

  • Opened new cr2 in Poser

  • Build new shaders for new materal zones

  • Added SSS Wacro to materials

  • Added a mild brown to default skin texture in Material room.

  • Rendered.

Very interesting look she has.

I wish I could do morphs. Everytime I try, it ends in a disaster and me saying words I don't want my kids to repeat.

And my avatar is me. Yes, I am a lefty...

Thanks for all the nice comments.

Yes, Rex and Roxie are the new Poser10 - PP2014 man and woman.

They are extremely morphable and so easy to work with on two conditions:

  • Delete all the magnets
  • Reduce the number of material zones. (easy to merge them in Blender)

Ha Esterau, I prefer my models to have a "neutral" look.
So much better to build expressions from a neutral look.
Perhaps the eyes look a bit "sad".

And euh, LOL but no LOL, breasts, unlike balloons, feel the force of gravity.
Yep, she is in her 40's.
(Unlike Roxie that looks like a teen girl).

But? Ha-ha-ha- !
Does Blender not have a "fill with Helium" button? ?  LOL.
I should file an enhancement to Blender then.
But no, they are where they are suposed to be.

yes she is almost smiling in this one.

 

I have to say, she does look more real than Vickie 4.

It would be interesting to know if there is some kind of ironclad  guide rule that Poser girls and guys are designed by. I like Roxie. As far as I'm concerned, out of the box she's the best looking default  character SM's ever had. That said, doesn't mean she could stand a few tweaks and improvements. Sorry, Vilters, but I LIKE balloon breasts.

sorry for disaggreeing. I like Roxie as well, but she is butt-ugly out of the box. She is just easy to morph into something real beauty.
