So it's a brand new year and as I write this, it's only three days old. So the big question for you all is what are your plans this year? I guess I'll start.

Tomorrow, the 4th, is my birthday, so it's kind of appropriate that this year, I'll be selling some of my 3D stuff online at Content Paradise. still a few "i"'s to dot and "t"'s to cross first but hopefully it's going to happen. I'm even finishing up my first item I'm going to put on sale for Roxie... A schoolgirl outfit. Comes with blouse, bowtie, vest, skirt, panty, socks and shoes. I have NO clue what it's going to cost yet, and actually I've spotted a few problems with it that I need to correct already. Plus I need to find a couple of testers to help me test some of these things I'm going to sell.

I'm kind of excited because I'm usually such a notorius procrastinator.

So what's your New Year's resolution?

Good luck. You will have at least one customer. With the Poser Content Room, there might be more Poser users using Content Paradise than people would suspect. It was my first source for content, and I still find interesting items there.

Guess no wanted to post their resolutions for 2014. Oh well, thought you'd like to know, I got the final go ahead to start selling at CP today. I just have to start packaging up a couple of things. Gonna try to have a couple of things in the store in a week or two..

I wish you good luck - we certainly need more people producing stuff for the native figures!

My own Poser-related plans for this year include finishing EZMat and getting it into the market place, a completely revamped and much more powerful SceneFixer and perhaps even a book or two to share what I've learned over the years :-)

On the artistic front I'd like to resume rendering again: for the last couple of years Poser has, for me, been a toy to tinker with rather than use to create art. I'd like to change that, and get back to making pictures again, even if it means drawing them by hand from a Poser created scene, which is how I got into Poser in the first place.

I'd like to try and spend some more time learning to make content... and also script with Python and wxPython.

I've tended to get abosrbed with just composing artistic images... and haven't yet dived into the more technical aspects as fully as I'd like to.

I'm going to learn to model. I've decided to put one evening a week aside and work through tutorials and make things.

I'm also going to master the hair room. I fI can tame my own mane I surely should be able to tame a digital one.

Available on Amazon for the Kindle E-Reader Monster of the North and The Shimmering Mage

Today I break my own personal record for the number of days for being alive.

My goal for 2014 is to be able to load more then and render more then a Null character :thumbupboth:

Learn to rig some items I have created or purchased vs using the cloth room that are used for illustrating some stories for friends. Have a complex series of scenes coming up where it is 6 people sitting around a confereence table and draping cloth on 6 figures if the scene shifts slightly and all you see of the character is the abdomen up, it would speed things up if I move just arms, hands or change necks and heads if the cloth was conforming vs re-drapping everything again. You have to move the hair and or jewelry if the head or arms move and that takes a lot of time to get all the details right just for those.

That said I much perfer the cloth room and convert and lot of confroming to props and drape currently especially if you can see the hip or abdomen down.

Improve my indoor scene lighting techniques. Outdoor is a snap with BB's Skydome and some light sets I have created or modified that came with other packages.

Set up my new MacPro that is coming in February with a bunch of external storage arrays and reorganize my runtimes for the 9,876,654,187 time.
