Has anyone seen this video?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAV4iWhFiSE

According to the video we could have been free from our dependence on oil a long time ago but the technology for abundant endless free energy have been suppressed.

I'm wondering what you guys think of this.  That video is a part of an hour-long movie.  The link to the full movie is in the video description.

Seeing "Crop Circles" in the title almost makes it unnecessary to read or watch any further. It's 100% bullshit.

Incidentally, any claim about "We could do X except the technology has been suppressed!" should have your skepticism meter redlining instantly.

If people are worried about the technology being suppressed....all they have to do is release the information on how to make some of these devices on the internet.

As soon as the information is out there...it cannot be put back in the bottle again.

The Universe is full of energy. All kinds of ways to get it without even getting into advanced Idea's. To name a few; tidal, wave action, geothermal, solor, wind, hydro-electric. I would have to agree about the crop circles being BS. Supressing technology does not suprise me however. I mean there are places you can get killed for $10 do you really think that the kind of money Big energy companies control they wont do worse.  Tecnology will only be allowed to advance to the point a profit can be made. The kind of free energy that video is talking about is being pulled out of the fabric of space and it absolutely has to do with crop circles and UFOs.   When you are out in space, you can't extract energy from tidal waves, the wind, geo, or hydro.   Sure you can get solar energy but your solar panels can only be so big and traveling vast distances require vast amounts of energy.

I know about the over unity energy idea. It has been proven that it exist. The reason I meantion the more mundane energy sources to illustrate the point that greed dictates our technolgy.  I just don't see what crop circles have to do with it.  If aliens were coming here across the vast distance of space why would they bother with crop circles.  By the way very cool thread I enjoy this kind of thing. The interview with  Thomas Bearden was very interesting.

According that that first video I posted, JP Morgan funded Tesla's work.  When Morgan found out that Tesla developed a way to get energy completely free without the need for transmission lines, Tesla's lab got burned down.

Without them, we wouldn't even have time travelling DeLoreans... and that's just for starters.

Whilst most of the stuff on YouTube is surely just varying degrees of misleading nonsense, there is always scope for the next major evolutionary break-through or techno-sociological paradgim shift to come, like a bolt from the blue, from some of the kind of conceptual mutation and madness that exists on the fringes of accepted scientific and engineering orthodoxy?

Well, I think it's a fun prospect that it could at least...

...well, fun, if you overlook the sense of desperation that also seems to me to pervade such efforts...

...and ignore the socio-economic factors that imbue that sense... such as the grip that is apparently still held on human destiny by just a few greedy hands.

For what it's worth, he's only getting a higher voltage out of it, not more power. At 100mA in, 35mA out, he's getting less power and the machine is consuming, not producing energy.

Depends on certain variables:

 1. How long has the cat been in the box?

 2. Can the cat breathe? Are there air holes in the box?

 3. Has the cat been fed or watered while in the box?

 4. Is there a bad smell coming from the box?

You're not going to make me comment on each video one by one, are you? Find me one where they actually know how to measure energy (in Joules).

Where do I start? "64.2 milliamps of energy" - amps are current, not energy. He's not measuring voltage at all, so he has no idea what the actual power is going in and out of his system.

All that he has there is a transformer that turns high voltage, low current AC into low voltage, high current AC. It just looks much more fancy than a regular transformer :)

Besides, if his contraption worked, he'd be running a successful power plant, not a web shop selling components.

EClark1894 ( ) posted Wed, 08 January 2014 at 10:54 AM

Basic electrical formula is Current X Resistance = Voltage. So you can vary the current or the Resistance in a circuit but the voltage will remain the same because voltage (i.e. power) is the product of the resistance in a circuit times the amperage.

stewer ( ) posted Wed, 08 January 2014 at 11:00 AM

And energy is voltage * current * time. You'd need to measure all three of these to show whether or an electronic circuit consumes or produces energy, and that's only under the assumption of constant temperature and no outside energy sources (motion, electromagnetic fields, light, radiation, etc).

This is going to sound very off topic, but I promise, it is not:

We need to learn we cannot buy into a concept just because it is "logical". "Logical" does not automatically mean "true". Every bit of logic says the world is flat, and we did not discover it was round until people started setting logic aside and trusting what they could observe with their own two eyes.

My dad helped develop solar panel technology. The moment the technology was introduced, the price for the materials needed, which were originally very plentiful, went up 10,000 percent and got suddenly very scare. Thus, the prohibitive cost to make the panels. On his own, my dad developed a means to make them more effecient and affordable. When he applied for a patent, he was told someone else already owned the process, but that "someone" could not be named. We, the public, have been told that when demand gets high enough, prices will go down. That line was first delivered to us more than forty years ago, and yet the prices only keep going up. Three years ago a HUGE factory intended to employ 3,000 people was built just down the road from me to produce solar panels, but for reasons unknown, it never opened. It's now a giant, empty building and parkinglot.

Logic says money trickles down, and for centuries we've accepted that concept because it is logical. But the truth is, money goes only one way - up! No matter what, it only goes up! Use your own two eyes! How much of the money you make each week, month, year, do you put in the hands of people who have less than you? Now, how much of it do you hand over to people (companies, whatever) who have more than you? Answer: every penny of it. The money you give to the bum on the street corner, what does he do with it? He sends it back up! It only goes up!

You need to understand these ultra-rich people exist, but you will never know it, primarily because they deal in currency other than money, and, because they own the media - all forms of it. Their media tells us Donald Trump is rich. Hah! Trump is not rich, the truly rich laugh at Trump's few measely hundreds of millions. Bill Gates is not one of them. These ultra-rich people own 97 percent of the wealth in the world. The other three percent is currently on its way up to them.

Until we can understand this, we will continue to be slaves to the ultra-rich, who use the media they own to convince us our problems stem from the people below us, those lazy, good for nothing welfare recipients. The ultra rich actually collect exponentially more money from the government than the poor do, they just call it something other than welfare.

The rich tell us the reason we have it so bad is because THEY are being taxed too heavily. Truth is, money goes up, and if you tax the rich at 100 percent, it all ends up back in their hands anyway. It all goes up, back home to Popa!

monkeycloud ( ) posted Wed, 08 January 2014 at 12:14 PM

So, you're suggesting that there are indeed an elite few who have cracked the secret, of how to get vastly more "energy" back, from a system, than they ever put into it?

;-)

EClark1894 ( ) posted Wed, 08 January 2014 at 12:20 PM

The problem with the "Free energy being suppressed" scenario is that logically it just doesn't make sense. With all of the problems logistically, financially, and politically connected with oil production, why in the world would an oil company suppress technology that could arguably make itself even richer?

Sorry, but if you "tax the rich at 100 percent", that's a suggestion of enslavement. Granted, you didn't suggest that we enslave anyone, nor (and I wish to emphasize this) did I say you had, but you did offer a moral justification by saying they would get it all back anyway.

I do NOT think you wish to enslave anyone, just that your comment might suggest that.

They don't view it that way. They don't think it will make them richer. It's the opposite. They see free energy technology as competition that must be destroyed / buried so that they can keep selling oil and make profits. Watch the first video I posted. If everyone can run their cars on a free energy device, they can't sell anymore oil. All their assets, e.g. oil fields, pipelines, etc. will be useless / worthless. We still can't ignore the fact that suppression keeps happening.  Every time someone comes close to bringing out a free energy device out to the world, their work gets seized by the government or the inventors themselves are killed. This video talked about a man who developed a way to run a car using water as fuel. He died after someone poisoned him.

Which is exactly WHY it doesn't make sense. Even if oil use did drop it wouldn't disappear. We use oil in too many other products. Plastics, for example, use oil. Machinery, even cars, will always need oil to work and lubricate their parts. Money used to grease the palms of world dictators can be kept in pocket because of less demand on oil AND oil companies wouldn't need to sink BILLIONS in to trying to find more oil.

I also dismiss the BIG OIL is EVIL mentality that a lot of these conspiracies have. Especially to the point of where they're having people killed and burning down labs.

I'm sorry, just don't see it. Chances are, they would be the ones controlling any new technology that came out anyway. Heck by the reasoning of people losing money, I'd be more inclined to suspect the government. Think of how much money it would lose from the taxes it imposes on businesses, industries and individuals if oil consumption and use did drop. Look back over the last few years when oil prices went up. People started driving less and using less gasoline. States needed to raise taxes on gas again, (making it even more expensive). You can imagine what they would do if that source of revenue was threatened for good. And governments DO kill.

By the way, anyone not familiar with the 1973 oil crisis, should pay particular attention to the notorious "toilet paper panic", a knock-on effect of the oil shortages... or rather human reaction to the oil shortages... and cited as a classic example of a "self-fulfilling prophecy" and of the Thomas Theorem.
