Hi Everyone, Here is my first finished movie. Actually there was another before it but I don't want to show you that one:). http://www.darksouls.com/Colm/tranzpozer_asf.zip 'TRANZPOSER' is to quote Jack Kammera "Like being stuck in a Lava Lamp"... Ok it features my characters 'Manga Girl' and '21st Century Boy'... 21st Century Boy is a Gibson Les Paul wielding guitar hero and Manga Girl has a really nice bum. Well I think it's quite different. Poser people play pop stars. It's not without it's faults. There are some things I could fix but I have come to a halt with it for now. It was originally an 88mb Quicktime file but after MPEG compression I have got it down to just over 2mb. Please bear in mind that this copy is much smaller than the original. It is 10 frames per second as opposed to 25 and it is very heavily compressed so it's not any way near as good quality as my original QT copy. I wish you could see it full screen. It's a 2.1mb zip file and in MPEG4 .asf format and you can get it here... Should play in Windows media player. Make sure you have your sound on ...LOUD Lots and lots of post production in Adobe After FX 4 pro. Edited in Adobe Premier 5.01. Cheers Colm...

Tried to view your movie with Windows media player and it didn't recognize the file extension. Anything I can get to play it with?

Bulldog ( ) posted Wed, 24 November 1999 at 11:24 AM

Wow, I felt like I was watching MTV! I upgraded my media player and saw the movie fine. So, can I have her "walk"? Please? Pretty please?

PANdaRUS ( ) posted Wed, 24 November 1999 at 1:16 PM

Could someone clue me in as to which "media" player I would need? thanks...haven't been able to view it yet.....sigh. PAN~

Hey PAN~ Its at microsoft. Try here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/EN/default.asp

Wow.. This has been here for over 10 days. I thought no one was going to see it. Ok Bulldog you can have the walk. Just go to the P4 walk designer presets in the pose menu and load up the 'Sexy Walk' preset. Turn your figure around and zoom in on the butt. Press play. Pan...I'm not sure which version it is but I am using IE5 and I think it was upgraded with that. I would imagine the latest version of Media player would be do the trick. I think .asf are Mpeg4 files. Hope you get to check it out. Let me know... Colm...

Colm, you have done much more animation than I've seen for a while. Great job. That is an inspiration for me to get mine going. Pack

Thanks Pack, I still haven't been able to get your stuff. I downloaded all the 'Real' stuff you directed me to and it is still dumping me out of my browser when I try to view it. Colm...

I've mentioned this before, but I didn't receive the greatest enthusiasm to it. A great compression tool I got (recomended by the folks at posemation) is called Bink. You can get it at www.radgametools.com - I have compressed video without sound at a 115:1 ratio on an AVI. I haven't tested it with sound yet, but it can use MP3's as sound sources. You need to have bink to view a bink file, but you can also save it as a self playing exe file that doesn't require the program.
