Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 07 11:07 am)
Hi.
Have you used the Scale or Perspective sliders in Poser? If so then you need to reset them to the original values. Those must not be used. In general they don't do anything useful anyway. The Perspective slider produces a perspective distortion that is best acheieved by changing the focal length and moving the camera, which is what is done in the real world with real cameras.
Once you follow those rules your frame will be pixel-perfect.
Hope this helps.

Yes, I meant the Scale sliders for the camera.
Try to create a new scene, don't change the Scale or Perspective sliders or any camera. Make sure that Reality has selected the same camera that you use in Poser and Reality
If the image matches then you know that the other scene has one of those two values off.
Cheers.

I recently purchased Reality 3 and cannot get the scene composition I want. I set the scene up in Poser 10 using the main camera. Everything is composed the way I want it. However, when I try to render the scene in Reality3/Lux I get a different cropping. Sometimes it cuts the tops of the heads off, while other times I get a much wider view than I want with tiny figures at the bottom of the image. I have checked and the camera is set to use the main camera in Reality 3. And for instance when it crops off the tops on the heads there seems to be nothing I can do to correct it. I have tried widing the view in Poser 10 to allow for some cropping, but ihere is no change in the Lux render. Its still crops off the tops of the heads. Why will it not render the scene as composed in the main camera?
