Subject: Not receiving email notifications from Renderosity

ObscuroArcanum ( ) posted Fri, 07 February 2014 at 1:47 AM · edited Sun, 10 November 2024 at 9:26 PM

Hopefully this is the correct place for this.

I have noticed, I am no longer receiving email notifications from my favourite vendors when they release a new product. I am only receiving the emails about products in my wishlist going on sale.

I haven't made any changes to my Renderosity account, changing the way I receive emails. I'm just not getting them.

However, I do appear to be still receiving newsletters and also the email that tells me when my Render Rewards are ready.

Is anyone else encountering this problem?

Hi,

Can you provide me with a couple of the vendor names to give me a starting point?

We will do our best to get this sorted out for you.

Thanks for your speedy reply.

A couple of the vendors I have in my Favourite vendor list, are:
Silver
Countess
Sveva
Propschick
Maddelirium
Sabby
Seven

I know Sveva has definitely been releasing some new products over the last few days, but I haven't received any emails about them.

I didn't think you'd forgotten about me! :)

My ISP is Telstra Bigpond, and my mail provider is also a Bigpond.com address.
The program I use for checking my email is Microsoft Outlook 2007.

Hello,

Again I just wanted to let you know they are working to resolve this issue and it is on our end not yours.

We appreciate your patience.

Oh, that's a relief!

Annoying that there is something you need to fix, but I had some concerns that perhaps my email, or even my ISP was having a hissy fit about these emails.

Thanks so much for letting me know.

Well I know I am...I received tons of emails relating to my favorite vendors within the last hour.  I too, had not been receiving any new product notifications until today.

I've the opposite problem, having received 55 emails in the past few hours from a handful of vendors for old products or rather products released in the past few weeks.

I received about 130 emails when I logged in today. I'm still going through them, but so far, they are older products when I first became alerted that there was a problem with not receiving the emails.

I'll know for sure that the emails work again when my favourite vendors release new products, but considering the slew of emails I received today, this is definite progress! :D
