Hey all. I have ahd to re-create the eyes that I was working on as they were wiped out in the computer rebellion a few weeks ago. So I'm looking for feedback on this colour (I'm not sure of it) and the face for a free face pose file that has a set of faces.

She looks good. Can't think of any helpful suggestions... only maybe I would try to make the eye colour a little darker? Just a thought :)

hmmm I had posted here, but it is gone... I was wondering if I should simply include a darker version of the same eyes in the set....

I like the eye color; it goes very well with her coloring, and like the feathered brows. Looks like the eyelashes on the texture don't quite fit the upper inner eyelid. I see those kind of gaps at the outer corners when I morph a Michael character's eyes and apply some textures, but the gap isn't there when I switch to another texture. I think what I'm seeing is that at least one of eyelash transmaps commonly used directly or as a template, rather than the texture map, is off. Haven't had time to look closely or try adjusting them yet.

Well the skin texture and maps aren't part of the packages ;) That skin is one of the ones from my Sensual Fairies pack. I've noticed that problem with that particular transmap, but have yet to find a different one. And with my mouse to work with making one is scarey, they are always "clumpy" There are two packs coming, one of faces and one of eye textures with MAT files.

I think the eyes work really well with that skin tone and coloring, so I wouldn't say that they need to be changed, but including different shades of the same color would probably be a good idea, that way you can match it to the skin tone you're working with... overall I think the character you've used here is excellent, even though that's not what you wanted feedback on. :)

I think it might just require changing the root end of the lash transmaps - the harder-to-draw lashes seem fine. But might take quite a bit of drawing and rendering to get it fixed and tested with morphs. When I get some time I'll take a close look at the Vicky and Michael lash transmaps I've got to see if any of them are reliably close-up quality around the eyes.
