Subject: Help with Vue 10.x splines

I am a newbie to Vue and have been trying to use the spline feature to make a road.  My road alsway appear to be above the surface of the terrain instead of being depressed into it.  What am I missing?

Ive often had trouble with vues spline tool not doing what I expect take a look at theis video see if its some help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrKacnYf_8A

Thanks for your reply.  Have viewed that video a few times.  For my install of Vue, the terrain is not affected by the spline, so that is the problem I am having.  Guess I should have mentioned that above, but I didn't really pay attention to what is going on until now.  (Head smack!)

Hmm not sure whats going on there I followed that video exactly (using vue 2014 complete) and it worked fine.Maybe have another look there maybe something you did slightly different ? I know i have had lots of trouble using splines and even after getting one to work when i have had problems with it not really sure why it works when it does!!!!! sorry I can not be of much help
