We've just released our free Service Release 3.1 for Poser 10 and Poser Pro 2014. The Readme includes of list of what's included. We're very pleased to have reached this point.

I do appreciate your work with these service releases, but please, stop using the site "fastspring" as your business partner.

Why they demand:

Your name, your street adress, your city, your postal number, your email adress, your phone number, your state along with the serial number verification is a mystery.

Why not use Content Paradise? There I can simply verify my serial number and then log in to the site and download, all my information is stored there.

If I choose to download the Poser10Pro2014-CU1.1_01win I am directed to CP for the download, but if I want to download the service release im directed to Fastspring.

I do however still love your product :-)

I'm trying the Download Manager to download this. First it tells me to download an update to it.

Then, when I run this new version it tells me that all the files are updated to version 10.0.3.26510. Do I have to download all nine files?

Nothing should be out of joint; that is exactly what I got, 2 update files.

On the link from the official update site that goes to another page to click for the update there is also another link at the page's bottom for "Poser Pro 2014 Content Updater - (CU1.1, Released 1/14/2014)" I wonder if that is the Rex /Roxie update in question....

I guess we can't be trusted to download the installers and do it ourselves the normal way.

...and it takes you to that page that requires your name address, email, everything about you form. Yay...I'm not doing it.

R3.1 upgrades poser to version 26510
All content files are also upgraded to version 26510

If you want full REX and ROXIE faceroom compatibility you need the new content and support files.

Rex  and Roxie are in the figure flies, te faceroom files are in the support  file.

Since installing the update, I get the following message when deleting a figure:

 Exception in objectsDeleted()'NoneType' object has no attribute 'update'

***Seems to me that since I'm deleting the figure, not saving the figure, there should be no 'update' call.

BTW: That error message comes from "mainWacros"

Have you got an addon installed (reality, ezmat, octane or other plugin?)

If so, try reinstalling those with the latest versions

Ok, this seems to be a Reality plugin problem. When I create a new scene, I get the following error message:

Yeah, definitely a Reality propblem. Uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version doesn't seem to help. The Reality plug-in is no longer even visible from the render menu.

Just to clarify - the Download Manager does not yet support delivery of the Updater itself. It will provide full version installers and content only as of today. The Download Manager will soon be providing updater support as well, but that functionality isn't live yet.

You've sorted out what addon exactly but yes, for some reason addon errors get reported with the error window showing "mainWacros".  That's usually a clue that it's something 3rd party.

I've been studying and dissecting the addon system a lot lately and what order things are happening.  Probably something was removed from the scene, either manually or by loading a new scene and then an addon/script is trying to use/query information from an object that no longer exists.

Ran into that one earlier, not addon specific, but finding out at which point poser initializes add ons and then the scene.  So an addon has to use its own delay or read the scene has changed with a scene observer callback and build a new list/database/"whatever is being used".
