Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 08 9:27 am)
When you installed the SR, did you tell it to backup existing preference files? If so, I believe you will find them in a subfolder in users/computer/AppData/Roaming/Poser/10 if you are using Windows; they would be in a similar location on a Mac...

The Wisdom of bagginsbill:
"Oh - the manual says that? I have never read the manual - this must be why."Actually it turns out that it doesn't keep them there; look in the vicinity of UserAppDataLocalTempPoserRenderCache for a backup folder.
I always tell it to keep existing preferences...

Thank you so much you just saved me fropm redoing over 100hrs of work
just an idea, but Poser chaches only the most recent so-many files, as set in the General Preferences (25 by default). Why not copy those contents into a more definite pool, if you want to keep them from re-doing? Just every day or so, in a start-up or shut-down script or daily task. They are just EXR image files, ready for photoshop or alike...

Usually I'm wrong. But to be effective and efficient, I don't need to be correct or accurate.
visit www.aRtBeeWeb.nl (works) or Missing Manuals (tutorials & reviews) - both need an update though
