Subject: How do I get the stuff that I install from DAZ to show up in the Poser 10 librar

curtskinn ( ) posted Sun, 16 March 2014 at 4:18 PM · edited Fri, 22 November 2024 at 7:15 AM

I bought Poser 10 this afternoon, and am trying to install all of the figures, poses, and whatnot into Poser 10, but it isn't showing up in the library.

I am using the DAZ Install Manager for that and thought that I had selected the right path, but now am not sure.

Help me please.

Why aren't you just linking your former Poser runtime with P10?  And BTW, which system are you installing under, PC or MAC, WinXP, Vista, Win 7 or Win 8?  And are you loading content into Programs Files under WinXP, Vista, Win7/8?  Genesis, as ThunderStone mentions, is also a separate issue.

We really need more information.

I am using Windows 8, and it isn't Genesis files I am using but the poser ones.

Sorry I gave the wrong answer before. I didn't pay close attention to what you had written...

Why are you using DAZ install manager and not Smith Micro Download Manager to install Poser? I would suggest you uninstall Poser right now and download the Smith Micro Download Manager.  Once you have SM Download Manager, you can then re-download Poser 10 via the Download Manager which will (hopefully) correctly install your Poser. You will need your serial number to input into the manager to download Poser.

You may have installed the Poser stuff in the Studio Library.
