Subject: Multiple filters for the marketplace

Would it be too difficult for Rendo to make it so you can filter and sort things by more than one way?  Let's say I want prime and what's hot or on sale and by date.  I can't do that right now.  It only lets you have 1 selection for the filter system.

You can do that in various categories.  Not to do them by date if that's a requirement for you but you can go to a categoryand down to the sub-category you want and then choose to sort by 8 different options, including Prime, What's Hot, Ranking etc.

If you mean the search area, well that area is still lacking in  more ways than filters.  I don't know how many times I search for something Iknow is in the store and it won't show up in a search.

I will bring this up. Thanks!

3d arena what's new is a category and so is prime.  But I can't select both filters at the same time if I want to see what's new in the prime category.  Or I can't select prime and by ranking at the same time if I'd like to.

Thanks Kimberly.

Ah, I get you now.  The What's new probably isn't an option because items are listed by what's new in the categories by default.  In the case of Prime it's what's "New" into the category even if it includes the classics as they are "new" to prime, albeit temporary.

I'd like to see the filter options available on the search result page as well.

I agree with the filters. And the failure of a search to find something I KNOW is there.

One more filter I'd like to see is for receiving email notifications.

Yes, I would like to know when items in my wishlist are on sale.

But my interest in some items is negligible if it's 10 percent, moderate if it's 30 percent, solid if its 50 percent and high if its 70 percent.

Can you please add a filter for SALES by percentage?

If I can't screen my notifications by percentage, then at least I'd like to see the percentage amount listed in the title notification of a wishlist item on sale.

This won't hurt lower percentage sales, but will help high percentage sales. Here's why:

As a practical matter the way email notifications are structured means I almost never click on a  wishlist item on sale beacuse the bulk of the notifications are for 10 percent off.  Ten percent won't cause me to click unless it is in combination with something else I'm doing or if I want a specific item from a vendor pretty badly, and then the messages won't tell me that anyway. The messages are generic telling me that something is on sale somewhere and there are so many of those notifications.

Would you go to MACYs or Home Depot, if they told you they had SOMETHING on sale in one of their departments by one of their vendors and you knew it was likely at most a sale for 10% off?  If you had one message a month, maybe. If you had 47, would you check them all?

So far I have kept the email notifications coming because once in a blue moon I used to be looking for an in-fill product to meet a price quota or something for a discouunt.  Now, though I mostly use a prime $3.50 product  to do that, so the email sale notifications are superfluous and I may just drop them altogether.

I'd also rather see direct text notifications if a vendor is having a BIG 50% off sale rather than having them in an attachment. Maybe a filter so I can have that notification in my Rendo Mailbox.  I don't always go in to look a the pretty Renderosity sale attachements so I have sometimes come in right after a sale has ended.

Filtered notifications such as those would be more useful to me, and possibly more profitable to RENDO.

Thank you.
