Subject: Problem with Anime PonyTail Hair DS Version

Sassywench ( ) posted Mon, 28 April 2014 at 5:59 PM · edited Wed, 25 December 2024 at 12:36 AM

When I unzip it I get error messages. It seems to be a problem with the data files for the right ponytail. This is the error messages:

What is the path that you are using to start the file extraction?

Sassywench ( ) posted Tue, 29 April 2014 at 10:07 AM

I extract all to a folder on my desktop. I also bought Blaze and a texture pack for it and all extracted fine. The left tail and main base on pony tail were fine also.

I buy quite a bit and this is the first time this has happened. :)

I re-downloaded the online zip just to double check the zip I have on my computer. I verified that have no problems extracting any of the files, and neither did the testers.

However, if I try to extract to the zip file, like as it appears above, I do get a very similar error message like the one you pasted. Maybe you need to double check the path where you are extracting the files to.  Do you use WinZip?

I really don't understand why else you would be having a problem, since I can't seem to duplicate (unless I use an extraction path to a zip file).

Well since I used the same path for 3 files and even the left tail and base from anime hair extracted fine.... not sure my path is the issue. But when I get home from work tonight I'll check further.

Though I still think its a pathing problem on right tail , in that its a different path then left tail or it would have extracted the same.

Oh my gosh!!!!!  I think I've found the problem. There was a space at the end of the "Anime Ponytail Hair " folder, so I think that's what was causing your problem. Many people like me don't notice the problem because our zip/unzip software ignores spaces at the end. But, I'm guessing your software doesn't like it.

I've fixed the DS zip, but since you only need those two files for the right ponytail, I'm going to SiteMail you a link to download just those two files.  Or you can re-download the entire DS zip file, if you prefer.

My apologies for not catching that earlier, it was such a tiny little space to try to see. I'm really hoping that solves your problem. Please let me know if it doesn't work for you.

Ah! Mystery solved! Lol I guess winrar is testy but I've never had that happen before.

Thanks for figuring it out though! I'll try it when I get home. :)

The hair is just adorable (as always!) And many many thanks for the G2F fits and .duf format!
