Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 18 10:25 am)
Noggin's Ultimate Fly Collection over at DAZ has maggots as part of package. It is from the P6/7 days so it should work in any version of Poser you are using.
The product uses python scripting to create the swarm. IIRC, it's compiled so it won't work in P8 or better because of the python changes.
Check the free stuff as well. IIRC, there used to be one there as well.

PoserPhysics is what you want, it's at Content Paradise. Here's a link to a quickie 3 second anim of M4 going for a bit of a fling from a see saw that I did using PoserPhysics.
OK here's where I saw it....
Just Released: PoserPhysics 2012 – Physics Simulation & Ragdoll Dynamics for Poser 9 and Pro 2012Looks like an add on from Smith Micro.
Applied to individual characters should give the affect you want... at a price.

Thank you! I am looking at the page and it seems a good price for it too!

Yes poser physics is a great value for animators
and the ragdoll simulations can be saved as animation poser files( PZ2) for later use on other figures

does anyone know of any 3d maggots or perhaps brushes?
There is a destinct lack of maggots....and piles of bodies while we are at it.
I made one recently (using m2) but I couldnt "fling" them around to get them to look properly thrown abount.
Is there a way to "fling" a figure and get it to land like it has been thrown?
