It's a scifi looking handgun fairly small, possibly with a case, and it has a small clear glass/plastic chamber attached with coloured liquid and mat poses to change the colour of the liquid.

I think I bought it here but am not 100% certain.  I searched weapon and gun etc but couldnt find it. not even in google looking at images.

Have you looked in your order history here? Or if it came from DAZ you could check in your product library there. I think every major store has an order history page somewhere in your account. I would look at those places first.

I thought of that.  But when I tried to put my orders by date they are closed and I have to open them one by one. As I'm not sure when I bought it, although I think, sometime in the last 4 months, I have so many orders.

And you are correct - it could have been daz, but I'm thinking rendero.

taosoft software renderosity downloader might save me.  It shows me all my orders much more easily.

That seems rather handy. 

I just do it manually. I have a separate downloads folder for each store and when I buy something new I just put it in it's proper sub-folder with a date. 

But I don't buy all that much so it's much easier for me to keep track of. You seem to have quite the order history there, so I'm sure that utility saves a lot of headache.

It's more of a syringe than a gun. I don't know what the actual name for it is. Maybe just syringe gun. That phrase tends to bring up several images on google.

that's a taser, but not quite suitable.  The guy who uses the gun is nicknamed the doc because he likes chemicals and it's going to be fired from a little distance away too in this scene.

well I might stick with outbreak, as long as you don't think it looks too much like something that has to be pressed onto a person rather than fired.

Actually, yeah, it does. You could always use an Arrow, shrink it down to dart size and insert it into the barrel of a gun, or better yet a silencer. It'll make it look like a special dart attachment for the gun.

They are called Jet Injectors. They are no longer used much due to they way it works. It is very easy to inject something other than what you are trying to inject. Blood will get expelled out of the hole it punctures in the skin, then the next patient gets that injected into them.

Do the math on what that will spread in a third world country that you are just trying to help.

Ah, gotcha David. Thanks for the clarification. I'd imagine they probably aren't the most sanitary. But the vials of bio chemicals make them look like something from a '60s sci-fi flick, which is cool.

yeah I know, a lot of trouble to go to for something that isn't even closeup.  But I will need it again later.  If you think you can model that one you showed me the picture of ambient, it would be good.the great thing about this one is I used a panko hand pose, and I moved the gun into position and parented it to the hand and the pose matched the gun perfeclty!  and parenting didn't cause the gun to jump away or anything bad. I was sooo happy.
