how's the single axis scaling in PP14?

has anyone tried Kids4 with toddler morph?

my pp12 does funky stuff to her neck-head connection.

thanks 😄

It works fine. You can easily fix the problem with the toddler morph, M4 shoulders with Freak 4 morphs, and more besides. Use Snarly's Scene Fixer to expose relevant scaling dials.

does that mean single axis scaling doesn't work without scene fixer?

thanks

It works fine.  K4 on the left, Toddler on the right in PP14.  I just loaded K4, injected Toddler, then dialed the Toddler morph to 1.

Just loading and dialling the morph in PP14 doesn't work for me. The shoulders don't look right.

Actually if you zoom in on Glitterati's image you see the same problem. It's maybe not as bad or less noticable from that distance. I believe I solved that problem on F4 by adjusting the overall shoulder size of the arms like cspear said. Scene fixer just exposes hidden dials I think. There are other tools that do that. But I don't remember whether shoulder scaling is hidden by default. Scene Fixer is free though and having access to hidden dials is a very good thing.

I'm certainly not seeing what you are, false1.  The Toddler poses and renders fine.

Yes, your second image looks really good. But I can see a slight imperfection on the first image right where the OP highlighted hers. It's covered up by the clothing and obviously not a show stopper ;-) I get the same thing on my toddler (more like what the OP showed) and it tends to go away with minor adjustment.

One thing to remember.

Single axis scaling was fixed in Poser, that does not mean that it will work if the character is not properly set up for it.

Any character made prior to fixing the single axis scaling may have work arounds in the character that don't work now.

In PP 2014, you can use "Show Hidden Dial" via the Parameters tab arrow at the top, particularly if you only want to show them temporarily.  As to their validity, IDK, I guess I don't have the Toddler "morph".

in the examples shown, if you select the chest and scale it to about 96%  the problem goes away.

I have PP2014,but prefer to use scenefixer to selectivly unhide dials.  With PP2014's fucntions, it is global until you turn it off, lots of dials to look at :D

since the poser 6 days, i open the file in wordpad, search and replace 'hidden 1' with 'hidden 0'.  but sometimes an inj remove rehides important dials.

i would love to be able to have a utility to expose new dials for offset settings. would make zeroing props to x,y,z=0 lots easier
