So I ripped the meshes from the MK9 game and got them exported as .objs.  Now I need to contour them to the default V4 body so that I can conform them.  I have absolutely no skill in doing this whatsoever.  Is there anyone here interested in this?

That is not how clothing is created.

The clothing is modelled around the mesh of the figure you are creating it for.  In the case of V4, you would export the obj mesh out of Poser and into your modeller.  You would then use whatever method you prefer to create the clothing (box, spline).

After you have modelled the clothing, you have to group and rig the clothing.  Since V4 is a Generation 4 figure, you would rig the figure using the Poser legacy rigging.

To be honest, what you are doing is pretty much backwards when it comes to clothing creation.

I know about grouping and rigging. I realize it is backwards, but the meshes are already extant, I'm just hoping to sculpt them onto a different figure.

What are you intending to do with the clothing once it is converted to V4?

Just typical fanart battle kind of stuff.  Nothing commerical obviously since that would be totally illegal.

I did this with Sheeva a while back, it takes a lot of work but it's quite possible. Have a look: http://foulfiends.deviantart.com/art/Sheeva-335761961

What did you use to do that?

I exported V4 to Blender, then tweaked the vertices to follow V4 body shape, added polygons here and there if needed, and then applied subdivision to make it smooth. After that I exported it back to Poser and riged it for V4, this step I don't remember that much, I just followed one of the many clothing tutorials out there.

Because Sheeva's clothing is simple, it didn't really take long, it's just a matter of practice inside Blender to move vertices and polygons around.
