I'm trying to create a map pose file to add texture to a character however when I do as Syyd's instruction when I save with the pz2 poser still see it as a text file and therefore will not read it how do I change it to be seen as a pz2 file thanx in advance

Two possiblilities depending on what text editor you're using that I can think of... 1. Your system is configured to not show file extentions, and so although you are saving as matpose.pz2 windows actually saves and sees it at matpose.pz2.txt to fix that you'll have to make your file extentions visible in your folder settings... 2. If you used wordpad or better rather than note pad, it may have saved it in a format other that simple text...it will still look the same in the word program, but poser will not understand it...to fix that you simply have to resave it as a simple text document...you can double check in note pad to be sure it didnt through in extra characters and carrige return type stuff... If neither of those work you can email me your mat pose if you like and I'll take a look at it for you (dmentia@infoave.net)

put the name (for example matpose.pz2) inside two "'s :) as in "matpose.pz2" and it will not save the txt extension.
