Subject: Problem with Face room not opening. :-(

clatsopduck ( ) posted Fri, 27 June 2014 at 12:08 AM · edited Sat, 08 February 2025 at 9:16 AM

My work has come to a screeching halt as I cannot get the face room to open. I can work in the Pose area, material area and hair room without problem, but when I click on the face tab, nothing happens.

Anyone else have this problem? How can I fix it?

I'm using a brand new install/upgrade of Pro2014.

And why don't my manuals open anywhere??? I really need to be able to read them!

First check that your video card driver is up to date.
=> Check that Poser is using the correct video card if you are on a portable.

The manuals are pdf files and stored in the 'Documents folder in your Poser content runtime.

Or from within Poser, upper menu, click on help. They can be opened from within Poser.

When I was test-driving Poser 10, the Face room was working just fine, so I don't think it's too likely to be the video card driver...

I'll try finding the manuals directly then... I did try clicking on "help" but it would not open.

opening help files from the help menu hasn't worked for me the last few poser versions,

currently on pp12, doesn't work.  i was guessing maybe cuz i didn't install to the default directory?  is on my logical e drive.

I went back to the installer and apparently, I'd missed the support files... Both things work now! :)
