Suggestion Box F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 06 12:26 am)
This forum is designed for suggestions from the community on how you feel we can improve Renderosity.
Interestingly enough the forums didn't actually show the colors of text I chose. I chose the font color that matched the review box (and in composing it showed as the correct choice) but now looking at the post I see it changed the color completely. That said, the review colors during composition are still messed up.
The dust settled, thinking "what a fine home, at least for now" not realizing that doom would soon be coming in the form of a vacuum cleaner.

So you've purchased an item and you're really happy with it. You decide to leave a review. There are two ways to do it. From the product page, click on the review button. You will see the box. As soon as you type you have this color font
which in pretty hard to read. It is really lousy substandard laziness programming in fact.
Oddly enough there is no opetion to change color font under the reviews. The default is not black. It's sort of a really, really light grey on a white background. I've seen sub titled movies with white text on a scene of snow that were more legible. How did this not get tested or fixed?
The other option to leave a review is to do so from My Account. If you right click on the link in that method your product page is severely truncated. You get a tiny box (left edge of screen) with no images loading. The text is black, but my impression is that it's not supposed to work that way.
It appears clicking on the item in your product pages opens a pop up with black text (no options other than rating) and once again, no product images or any other product info.
So if you buy a lot of products (sometimes multiple from the same vendor) and want to leave different reviews (notes, etc) for each product it's once again more difficult (unless you've made hand written notes after each render as to what is exactly what).
Practical example. During a recent sale I purchased 3 pose sets from the same vendor. Some came with props, others did not. If (and I do intend to get around to it once I go back and make some notes) I leave a review I have to either open the product page (to see the images) and deal with the lousy grey on white font color, or guess using either two other methods. So to sum up, it's actually more difficult, more time consuming to leave product reviews. Sorry vendors. Hopefully these things will be addressed soon.
