Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 24 7:34 pm)
Don't know if you have found your solution, but here is what I do using Vue 2014.5 with the October 2013 Poser SDK. If I recall correctly, this worked in Vue 11, too. As in your case with default settings, you get one mesh with the subD cage included (the T-pose figure). Change the Poser import settings as shown in the screenshot, make sure that "Group Figures as Single meshes" is unchecked. Upon import completion you will still see the extra mesh, but if you expand the figure you can now find the "SubD" sub-mesh and hide it from render or delete it. Hope this helps.

I've tried this in the past but there is always a UV problem with males. the females take your V4 textures though.
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
having had this problem my self once and taking weeks to find the solution . The answer is very very easy all you need to do once your figure is set up in poser how you want it is go to scripts-DSON support-Sub division -set sub division OFF. you may see your figure change and look a bit odd or clothes not fitting just move the camera and it will all jump back correctly. For some genesis clothes you will nees to do the same for each item shirt , trousers etc . if you see a duplicate of any item in vue on your genesis figure then do the same to that item .I usually keep poser open when I set up my figure then when i import in to vue if somethings duplicated .(last time was a pair of shoes on genesis never had that before)resave and vue will say its been changed by another program do you want to reimport? say yes and volia there it is!
This is also the way to fix mil horse 2 and the new daz dragon , with the horse you will need to do the mane and the tail as well as the horse.
Hope this is of some use to you
iborg64, Many thanks for your help.Cheers

Has anyone had any success in importing a Genesis 2 figure from a Poser PZ3 into Vue 11 Infinite? I have tried many times and I get two figures. One the posed figure I want and the T shape default figure as well which I do not want in which I cannot separate as it becomes part of the original figure when imported into Vue! Any help or advice would be appreciated. I will also put this post in the Poser forum as well.Cheers
