Don't forget CGCookie, they're got a seemingly very comprehensive tutorial base for Blender.Core i7 950@3.02GHz | 12GB Corsair Dominator Ram@1600mHz | 2GB Geforce GTX 660
Lightwave | Blender | Marmoset | GIMP | Krita

CGCookie also lets you download the material for offline use and you're own archive. Very enlightened compared to Lynda.com who have now gone to a subscription based system where you can only view the lessons online a la Adobe apps.
....and you might also be interested in Blenders internal video editor which also does advanced motion tracking that works better then Adobe After Effects. This is a little gem that few folks seem to know about. It's only downfall is the somewhat goofy interface for it.

This chap has managed to make a FinalCut Pro flavoured interface for Blender's NLE.

Well, I thought Lynda.com was the only place to find a guided training introduction to Blender.
Digital Tutors has now added a guided training intro to Blender.
I like guided training to get started. Yes, youtube is good for specific things and advanced users. For those of use who loaded the app and started to bungle around, well, Lynda and now DT will get us through the basics.
I'm still busy with learning the autodesk package (except for XSI, got that down reasonable well and prefer it for modeling). And there are a few other apps on my bucket list ahead of Blender... However, Blender does seem to have a lot to offer.
Gotta love the price.
