I bought this when it first came out and found it of limited use in my first model. However , when used with the sort of model it was designed for it works well. I enjoy supporting this sort of endevour and consider the thirty five bucks to be money well spent.
Completely agree with you! The video Jonathan did on EweT00b is quite compelling....

Will have to look closer at this one briefly remember it when it first came out but have spent funds on toutorials to become more comfortable with the tools already in Blender. Especially now that I finally got my system to dual boot with LinuxMint and already see Blender running so much faster under Linux than Windows.

@Lobo3433 I hear that Linux is a lot leaner no nonsense experience.(a.k.a. no Microsoft bloat). I have been tempted lately to install Linux mint on my older computer and just to see how I like it. I understand Mint is pretty user friendly.Speaking of Linux. I recently came across a digtal paint program Krita. Wich works on Windows now but was first a Linux program. It's a great program and it's totally free.

I got Linux Mint and tried it out the Live on a USB drive to boot from and really liked it. had to reformat a drive so have Windows on drive and Linux Mint on another drive to avoid some of the dual boot issues that sometimes come up and one tool that I also used is the EasyBCD boot manger because I did run into one issue with grub. I follow this tutorial basically except I added EasyBCD to the mix to make it work on my end

Linux is great...and now that Silo also works in Linux, maybe Linux will soon get to the point where those of use that would like to (including me - love Xubuntu) can ditch Windoze altogether ;). I agree that Blender works a whole let better in Linux than it does in Windows :). Wings 3D does as well.

Thanks for reminding me I can install Silo on my new Linux drive and it supports 64 bit on Linux which it doesnt on Windows yet
