Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 09 3:46 am)
What focal length is your camera set to in both apps? What resolution of HDRI?
If you are using a long focal length, you have a very narrow field of view, which will magnify a tiny patch of the HDRI to spread across your entire render. That will look fuzzy.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Hello;
When i use HDRI images or sets in for instance C4D the final render output is of very high quality and the HDR image looks very crisp and sharp.
On the othet hand when i use an HDR image in Poser on BB env sphere...the final render is a far cry compared to that of C4D!...my question is why?...and i use the same high resolution HDR images in both programs...but like i said...C4D makes it all look perfect in the end!...
Does it have something to do with the resolution settings in Poser...or BB env sphere settings?...i have no idea.
And in C4D i dont fiddle wiith no settings...the final render is just good...period.
Only i would like to achieve the same results in Poser...if its possible!...
Any light on the subject from any of you seasoned veterans would be appreciated!...
Thx for viewing.
