Subject: Question about PoserPro 2014 Help Files and Windows

nabob21 ( ) posted Tue, 26 August 2014 at 6:18 PM · edited Wed, 15 January 2025 at 10:06 PM

Hello,

I recently purchased PoserPro 2014 and have found that when I open a window such as the library window and leave it free floating that it always stays on top. Not wanting it to do that I tried to open the Poser Help to see if I could turn off 'always on top' but the help window did not appear. I then went and looked in the Poser 2014 directory for the Poser Manual and could not find it.

In Poser Pro 2012 the manual was a PDF file. Is this not the case with Poser Pro 2014? If so where is it?

And can anyone tell me if there is a way to make the free floating windows not stay always on top?

Thanks for any replies.

I believe under Preferences you'll see an option to load the library as a separate window. That way it stays hidden until you want it.

Thanks dnstuefloten. That seemed to do the trick with the library windows. Now I just need to get the help working. I wonder if I need to do a re-install, although I did not encounter any errors when I initially installed the program.

Thank you vilters., I found them now. I had to copy them into the PoserPro 2014 home directory for them to be accessed by the program.
