Subject: Is anybody having problems with loading the Hivewire horse?

Poser Pro 2014 says it is missing textures. Also the Arabian is missing textures. I see other people using the horse with no problem, What do you think is wrong? Anyone else have this problems? Thanks, Sherrie

Without more specific information, I suggest that your problem is that you're either:

a) Missing needed textures :or

b)you've mislocated them.

Check your read me's and see if you can follow the texture path back to the source file.

Also, check to see if you've got all the files you need and that you've loaded them in the right place.

I downloaded the files from HIvewire, then I put them in a folder called Hivewire horse.

Then I unzipped them and created an external runtime (just like all my other runtimes) on my external drive and linked it to Poser. All my other external runtimes work fine this way. I did not misplace any textures. I installed each runtime from HIvewire right into the main HIvewire Horse runtime. Could the external drive cause problems? Thanks

Do you have the current version of the HW Horse?  He's had a few updates since release. 

I have him installed in an external runtime, and so far he's worked just fine.

Which file is missing?

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and redownloading the files?

Do you just own the base horse or did you buy and install any of the other breeds?

Some of the breeds comew with textures and some need cwrw's add on texture set.

I bought the horse, Arabian, foal, textures, expressions and poses. I think I will redownload.

I just redownloaded all the horse stuff. I was missing the textures. But the horse still doesn't load. Poser asked for a texture, I found it in the texture folder and clicked on it, then the horse loaded. There must be something wrong with Hiveiwre's code and I do not know how to fix it.

You open the file that failed to load the texture (in notepad) and search the textures and correct the file references
