Hi folks,

I'm looking for a hairstyle like this, preferably for free but I'm also open to purchasing it, if it's a really good likeness and looks good. Can anyone suggest anything, please? I could probably create the bun if the main head hair is right and has maps I can use on an add-on bun.

Take a look at Ali's Hr-133.  The bun is a little neater and the bangs are different but it's close.

Yes, HR133 is it.

Ali makes wonderfully versatile hair but he doesn't show off its range of possibilities in his promos.  Here's HR133 on Eternal Judy, with lots of Messy and Loose morphs applied.  I didn't try to do the sideways bangs, but I'll bet there's a way to get there.  The bangs are a separate part, with separate scale and rotate.

Awesome, thanks! I'm using 082 from Ali at the moment, only I've butchered the bun, turning it upside down, messing with the scales and positions and all that. It doesn't look bad, but it's the centre parting that throws it off. That one looks spot on, thanks a million! :D

Hmmm... while I have your attention on this, does anyone know which hair the figure on the left is using, please? I saw a render a while back (was it Alfaseed?) which had a robot woman with similar 'hair'. The strands were really thick and cylindrical, with ball joints between them. I thought it looked pretty neat.

As for the exact hairstyle that's in Aeon Soul's (Alpha Seed; Aery Soul) promo, I am pretty sure it is Wild Dreads (at Daz) by Anna Benjamin and ElorOnceDark, and they just customized the material on it to make it look cyber-ish. I say this becaue it has the same thickness and same exact amount of "beads" on it.

With regards to the Dimiona Hair and the Cyber Hair, thanks! That's brilliant! :D

With regards to the AS promo (in the voice of Roy Walker of Catchphrase) It's good, but it's not right.

That said, I'm quite confident that the one I saw, whether it was a rendering from AS or not, was the Cyber Hair, looking at all the morphs, so massive thanks for that!
