Subject: selecting props in the foreground

By default, it seems that Poser's manual editing tools are set to select the object or figure furthest in the background when you click. Is there any way to set the default so they'll select the closest, rather than the furthest away so that I won't have to hide all my 200+ props and 5 figures just to grab and manipulate the one I need to work on? Selecting with the hierarchy editor and manipulating with the parameter dials just isn't practical for the work I'm doing.  This is a HUGE hassle and waste of time for me, and any ideas would be greatly appresciated.

PS I'm running Poser 7 on windows xp

Site Admin Online Now!

i believe right clicking on where an object is should bring up a menu that includes a choice of object to select.
